Vinovo
Hello everyone! Today I will talk about Vinovo, a beautiful city located in the second belt of the metropolitan city of Turin, in Piedmont. History
Vinovo has a very interesting history, which begins well before the Middle Ages. In fact, artifacts dating back to the 5th century AD have been found. The city has seen the presence of several noble families, including the Della Rovere and the Conti delle Lanze. In 1458, Duke Ludovico of Savoy granted the inhabitants the Statutes to defend the citizens. In 1732, Cardinal Carlo Vittorio Amedeo Ignazio delle Lanze ceded the city to Carlo Emanuele III of Savoy, who donated Vinovo to the Commandery of the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus. In 1865, the hamlet of Stupinigi was separated from Vinovo and annexed to Nichelino.
