Other territorial realities deal with aeronautical production, with SKF Avio, as well as bearings and polymer-based products, with SKF HPB and SKF RBU.
In the past, the inhabitants of the municipality were primarily dedicated to agriculture, with a particular focus on the cultivation of apples and Morus, a tree whose leaf is the exclusive food of Bombyx mori, or silk moths.
Infrastructure and Transport
During the 1960s, Villar Perosa was crossed by the Pinerolo-Perosa Argentina tramway, which provided passenger and freight services. The former station building remains today, characterized by its location in front of the RIV company's facilities.
As for intercity transport, the municipality can be reached by bus managed by Sadem.

Furthermore, here the match between the Juventus A first team and the Primavera formation takes place, an event that attracts a large number of football enthusiasts to the municipality. This tradition continues today, with the match between Juventus A and Juventus B, which is attended by numerous fans.
