The history of Sologno

The history of Sologno dates back to the Middle Ages: in 1022 it depended on the castle of Piolo (Ligonchio) and was subject to the feudal family of Da Dallo. In 1373, the Fogliani took control of the village, but it was subsequently left to the Estensi in 1427. These historical events have shaped the village and its traditions, which are still deeply rooted among the inhabitants of Sologno today.
