Villa d'Ogna: discovering the municipality

Welcome to the discovery of Villa d'Ogna, a municipality of 1796 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy. Located in the upper Seriana Valley, this municipality offers breathtaking landscapes thanks to the confluence of the Ogna stream into the Serio river, on the left bank of the latter. Here, we find the last foothills of Mount Blum, whose watershed serves as a border with Clusone.

The eastern part of the municipality instead stretches into Valzurio, up to La Rasga, and then continues southwest, where the border with Piario delimits the southern part. On the western side of the municipality, we find Festi Rasini and the locality of Sant'Alberto bordering with Parre.

The main water course that crosses the territory of Villa d'Ogna is the Ogna, which develops in Valzurio. Other relevant water courses are the stream that crosses the Frati valley and an artificial canal in the industrial area.
