Welcome to Trivignano Udinese

Hello everyone! Today I want to talk to you about Trivignano Udinese, an Italian municipality located in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The city has a population of around 1560 inhabitants and is very interesting because it has many monuments to visit and a very rich culture.

Monuments and places of interest

If you are a fan of ancient churches, you will appreciate the beauty of the churches in Trivignano Udinese. The church of San Teodoro is a historic building dating back to the 16th century, with the interior decorated with frescoes and Baroque paintings. The church of San Michele Arcangelo, on the other hand, was built in the 18th century and is famous for its interior decorations and the richness of its altars. If you want to see an older church, the church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo in Melarolo dates back to the 11th century and is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture, while the church of Santa Caterina in Merlana was built in the 14th century and has a bell tower 32 meters high.

In addition, you can visit the church of San Marco which dates back to the 16th century, while the church of San Giorgio Martire in Clauiano features a painting by Beato Jacopo da Udine from 1607.

If you love art and architecture, you will really like the village of Clauiano. This ancient town has beautiful old houses and small churches, and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
