Hello friends, today I want to tell you about a beautiful municipality in the metropolitan city of Naples, in Campania: Tufino. Tufino currently has 3376 inhabitants and is a small ancient village with ancient roots, which still preserves numerous testimonies of the past.
History of Tufino
Tufino's history dates back to the Roman era, when it was a small agricultural center. In the Middle Ages, the village became an important fiefdom of the Piscicelli family, which favored its growth and development. Among the most important churches in Tufino, we mention: the Church of Saints Bartholomew the Apostle and John the Baptist, dating back to the 18th century, the Church of Santa Maria di Loreto, from the 16th century, and the remains of a Paleochristian church, dating back to the Roman era. Not least are the remains of Palazzo Mastrilli, an ancient noble building built in the 17th century.

Over the years, Tufino's population has grown steadily, thanks to the increase in agricultural activities and industrialization. Today, Tufino is a lively municipality, with a strong cultural and social identity. The main economic activities of the municipality are represented by agriculture, tourism, and commerce.
