History of Trivero
The history of Trivero dates back to the Middle Ages when it belonged to the diocese of Vercelli. During the 14th century, the area was the scene of clashes between the followers of Fra Dolcino and the bishopric and feudal troops. In 1379, Trivero became part of the domains of Casa Savoia, together with most of the Biellese. In 1798, the tree of liberty was erected. In 2019, Trivero was merged with the municipalities of Mosso, Soprana, and Valle Mosso to create the new municipality of Valdilana.

The coat of arms of the municipality of Trivero was granted by Decree of the President of the Republic on October 6, 1953.
Monuments and places of interest
One of the best-known places in Trivero is the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Heath, located in the locality of Bulliana. This sanctuary and the sanctuary of Banchette are among the most visited in the northeastern province of Biella.
