The name comes from "moerulus" (fortress wall), and the overall character of the small settlement, isolated, suggests it was a lookout and first defense point from the western part, where Scannabue is now located. There, the Paradia or Parasia forest was once present, stretching near Palazzo Pignano.
The "Tedolto" comes from the Latin "teda, toeda" (wild, resinous pine) and indicated the place where "tall pine trees" used to grow until the second half of the last century, which gave the location its name.
The "Chiusure" indicated the dams or banks defending the water that flowed there, whose traces can be seen between Trescore and Casaletto Vaprio in the east, and in another section to the west, where the building of the Asilo is now located.
History
Middle Ages
In 1449, Trescore came under Venetian rule, and in 1580, it was linked to the Diocese of Crema. Between the XIII and XVII centuries, several epidemics struck the small village, causing numerous victims.
