Territory

The territory of Travagliato covers about square kilometers and is completely flat. Many industries have developed in the northeast area of the town. The countryside is irrigated by the streams of the Seriole Travagliata and Vecchia di Chiari. Travagliato borders many municipalities including Ospitaletto, Cazzago San Martino, Castegnato, Rovato, Torbole Casaglia, Berlingo and its hamlet Berlinghetto, Lograto, Roncadelle.

Climate

The climate of Travagliato is subtropical humid with cold winters and hot and humid summers. In the autumn and winter months, the phenomenon of fog is felt, as well as frost. Spring and autumn are the rainiest seasons, while snowfall is quite rare and concentrated especially in the first part of the year.

History

The name of the city has changed many times over the centuries - in particular, for the Venetians of the Serenissima the municipality was called Travaleado, then Travajado and finally Travagliato.

The flag of the city is a split cloth of white and blue.

In 2001, the municipality of Travagliato was awarded the title of City.
