The municipality has an area of ​​18.75 km² and an altitude ranging from 18 to 412 meters above sea level. The area is crossed by some important provincial roads, such as n. 25 "del Castelletto" and n. 98 "Vallarega". But what makes Torreglia special is certainly the Euganean Hills Regional Park, which surrounds it.

Torreglia has an ancient and uncertain history, but it is known that the first stable settlements date back to the Roman period. In the thirteenth century, the monks of the Order of San Benedetto di Abbazia di Praglia and San Daniele arrived in the area and contributed to the repopulation of the area thanks to their reclamation interventions. In 1405 Torreglia passed under Venetian rule and numerous patrician villas were built, including the famous Villa dei Vescovi designed by Giovanni Maria Falconetto. In 1911 the first electric tram arrived and in 1913 the first stone of the parish church was laid. After the Second World War, Torreglia experienced considerable economic and social development.

If you want to visit an old and suggestive church, go to Luvigliano, where you will find the Church of San Martino. Inside you will find a main altar painting from the sixteenth century and a Holy Family from the seventeenth century. Finally, you can admire Villa il Castelletto, a fifteenth-century building surrounded by greenery.
