During the Copper and Bronze Ages, few artifacts were found, but in Roman times, the evidence of human presence became more substantial. In the twelfth century, the magnificent communities of Fiemme established the institution of the Community of Tesero.
Modern and contemporary age
In 1807, the valley came under the rule of Bavaria, with the suppression of local rules and the establishment of municipalities. Starting from the second half of the nineteenth century, industrial companies such as mills, forges and paper mills developed in the territory of Tesero.
During the twentieth century, some of these companies were moved to other areas, but Tesero remained an important production center at the local level.
Today, Tesero is a picturesque town characterized by the calm of the meadows and the gleaming snow that caresses it during winter.
