The hamlets of Stregna are located both on the slopes of the mountains and on the plateau that leads to the sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Castelmonte, located at an altitude between 600 and 670 meters.

The Velenizza Cave is considered the most important of all, with an entrance at an altitude of 260 meters and an internal path of over 1610 meters.
