Physical geography
Inside the territory of Sporminore, there is a cave called Bus dela Spia, not far from the castle of Sporo.
History
Sporminore is first documented in the records of the Tyrolean Appiano family in 1177-1191, with the name "Spaurn" and "de Spuro minori" in favor of the Augustinian Collegiate Church of San Michele all'Adige.

There are several attractions to see in Sporminore, including the Church of the Addolorata, which is the parish church of the town, and the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Sorrows.

Anthropogenic geography
In 1928, the municipality of Sporminore was abolished and its territory was merged with that of Spormaggiore, but in 1947 the municipality of Sporminore was reestablished. In the 1936 census, the population was 783 people.

Currently, the mayor of Sporminore is Marco Daldos, and the municipality is part of the Non Valley Community.
