Introduction

Hello everyone! Today we will talk about the municipalities present in the Molise region. In total, there are 136, divided between the provinces of Campobasso and Isernia. The majority of the population lives in the province of Campobasso, which has 84 municipalities and 72.5% of the regional population, while the remaining 52 municipalities are located in the province of Isernia.

The Molisan citizens are proud of their land and their history. Although Molise was preceded by the County of Molise, its current form dates back to 1945 when important territorial and administrative changes were made.
