## History
Siziano boasts ancient origins, dating back to the Roman Empire, as evidenced by the numerous funerary inscriptions found. In the Middle Ages, the locality became the center of political-military conflicts between Milan and Pavia, and a fortress was erected there for defensive purposes. Over time, the town passed into the hands of various families, including the Biraghi and the Sforza, undergoing a progressive decline. In 1863 it became an autonomous municipality, and in 1871 it joined the municipality of Campomorto, home to an abbey.
