Origin of the Name

Let's start by saying that the name of the neighborhood, Borgata Paradiso or Borgià Paradis in Piedmontese, was taken from Cascina Paradiso, located in the current territory of Grugliasco. In the spring of 2011, Parco Paradiso was inaugurated, a large green area located near the border between Grugliasco, Collegno, and Turin. Although it is not located in the territory of Turin, it was built by the City of Turin because over half of its visitors come from the neighboring Turin district.
