Senis
A small town with a long history
Senis, a municipality located in the province of Oristano in Sardinia, is a small town with a rich history. Its area has been inhabited since prehistoric times, making it a treasure trove of archaeological evidence from the Nuragic and Roman periods. During the Middle Ages, the town was part of the Giudicato di Arborea and was protected by a castle until the 13th century. In 1420, it came under the rule of the Crown of Aragon and became a barony with several lords and barons who ruled the territory.
