Campanedda

Campanedda, the charming hamlet of Sassari

Campanedda is a beautiful hamlet located in the lovely plain of Nurra, a geographical subdivision of the town of Sassari. This place was established in the 1950s, thanks to the post-World War II land and agricultural reform carried out by the Land and Agricultural Transformation Agency in Sardinia. Campanedda was the last village to be created in Nurra thanks to this reform.

The history of the village

The church of Santa Maria a Torres was the first monument to be built in Campanedda, inaugurated in 1960, and represents an important symbol of the community present in the village. The hamlet can be easily reached from the Provincial Road 42 of the Two Seas and the Provincial Road 18.
