Sant'Angelo del Pesco is a picturesque town of 320 inhabitants located in the province of Isernia in Molise, Italy. Its origins date back to the year 1000, but the area was part of Abruzzo citeriore until 1790. During the Middle Ages, several feudal families alternated in the government of the town, while during World War II Sant'Angelo del Pesco was bombed and almost destroyed.

According to legend, Sant'Angelo del Pesco was founded by the Lombards, although the first historical traces date back to the year 1000. Initially called "Sant'Angelo del Grifone", the town changed its name in 1320 becoming "Sanctus Angelus de Pesculo". In the census of 1452, the town had 32 households, while during the Middle Ages several feudal families alternated in the government of the town. During World War II, the town was razed to the ground by bombings, but subsequently rebuilt.

The coat of arms of the municipality of Sant'Angelo del Pesco was granted in 1991. It depicts the Archangel Michael, the patron saint of the town, trampling the dragon holding a balance in his right hand and a lance in his left.

The town hosts several monuments and places of interest. The Parish Church of San Michele Arcangelo, dating back to 1886, has a single nave with eight side chapels. The old organ of the church was replaced around the middle of the last century due to deterioration. The Church of Madonna del Carmelo, located near the cemetery and dating back to the 18th century, has three naves with side chapels. The Hermitage of San Luca, located in the woods of Sant'Angelo, represents one of the most majestic hermitages carved out of a cave. Additionally, there is Colle del Calvario with three wrought iron crosses and the Monument to the Fallen of the First World War, erected in 1926.
