Specialties

Sanfrè has a sweet delicacy called Fuaset. This poor sweet was born at the end of the 18th century and is made with the same dough as bread but sweetened, with the addition of lemon, butter, eggs, and a pinch of salt and yeast. It is baked with the typical five-pointed stub shape, during Lent.

Events

Sanfrè is famous for its traditional festivals. The patronal festival of "Corpi Santi" is a highly anticipated festival by the inhabitants, during which the Pro Loco organizes games, attractions, and the Palio dei Borghi and the Palio delle Galline. Another festival not to be missed is that of the Epiphany, during which a living nativity scene with 200 characters and old professions is set up, and a mechanical nativity scene inside a small church.

During the summer, until 2016, the city organized the "Memorial Andrea Soligo," a team soccer tournament.
