San Potito Ultra currently has around 1451 inhabitants, but in recent years, it has undergone significant demographic variations. In 1981, the municipality had around 2716 inhabitants, while in 2011, the inhabitants had gone down to 1477.
Languages and dialects
In addition to the Italian language, the Irpino dialect is in use in the territory of San Potito Ultra. The dialect is essential for the inhabitants of the village, who often use it in their daily lives.
Administration
San Potito Ultra is part of the Terre dei Filangieri Union of municipalities and is currently governed by mayor Pasquale Nazzaro, elected in 2018 with a civic list.
