Discover Crevada: between nature, culture, and traditions.

Physical geography

Territory

Crevada consists of two nuclei separated by the Crevada River. The first, on the right bank of the river, is located in the northern area of the municipality of Susegana, at the foot of the hills that separate it from Quartier del Piave. The second, located on a plateau further downstream, is at the southern end of the municipality of San Pietro di Feletto and is much larger both in terms of population and urbanism, with the presence of an industrial area. Despite the administrative division, the two nuclei refer to the same parish headquartered in the church of San Giuseppe di Susegana.

Crevada was once an agricultural and forested area, and despite the urban development of the 1980s, the locality still retains its rural nature.

Monuments and places of interest

Church of San Giuseppe

The Church of San Giuseppe is the center of the parish community of Crevada and is located in the Suseganese part of the town. Built in the twentieth century, the building is of modest size with a single nave and is located on a raised position adjacent to the Provincial Road 38. Near the church is the local oratory, the meeting place of the whole community and the center of the nativity scene every year.

Crevada was elevated to a parish in 1949, taking its territory from Santa Maria di Feletto and Susegana.

Crevada River

The Crevada River flows down from the hills of Refrontolo and borders the territory of the town separating the two centers that make it up. The watercourse lies to the west of Crevada di Susegana and to the east of Crevada di San Pietro di Feletto. In 2005, a pedestrian and cycle bridge was built that crosses the river, joining the two neighboring municipalities.
