Welcome to Ronzo-Chienis, a mountain town in the province of Trento, located at about 1000 meters above sea level, in Val di Gresta. The name of the town is the result of the union of two villages, previously autonomous municipalities, located in a privileged position from a geographical point of view. The administrative history of Ronzo-Chienis
At the time of the annexation of Trentino to the Kingdom of Italy in 1920, there were five municipalities in the Ronzo-Chienis area: Pannone, Manzano, Nomesino, Ronzo, and Chienis. In 1924, the municipality of Pannone absorbed the territories of the other four municipalities. In 1971, the former territories of Manzano and Nomesino, as well as the original territory of Pannone, were annexed to the neighboring municipality of Mori. Consequently, the municipality of Pannone, corresponding only to the former territories of the municipalities of Ronzo and Chienis, was renamed to the current name.
