Rocchetta Belbo
Hello from the Municipality of Rocchetta Belbo!
We are happy to introduce you to our small Piedmontese village, located just 24 km southeast of the city of Alba. With a population of only 156 residents, Rocchetta Belbo is a peaceful and relaxing place, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
History
The history of Rocchetta Belbo dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was a fortified center under the control of local lords. Over time, the small village developed and today we can still admire the tower and walls of the Rocca, as well as the Church of San Giovanni Battista, dating back to the 18th century.
Symbols
The coat of arms of our municipality, granted in 1996, consists of a red eagle on a green and white background. The flag, on the other hand, is a green and red banner.
Society
Our small municipality has seen a demographic evolution over the years. Today, Rocchetta Belbo has only 156 residents, but our community is warm and welcoming.
