Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk to you about Robecco d'Oglio, a small town in the province of Cremona, Lombardy. There are approximately 2,252 inhabitants who live here, and its name in Cremonese dialect is "Rubèch".
History
During Roman times, Robecco d'Oglio was crossed by the "Via Brixiana", a consular road that connected the river port of Cremona on the Po River with Brescia. Other Roman roads also departed from here towards Cisalpine Gaul.
Monuments and places of interest
For a small town, Robecco d'Oglio has several monuments and places of interest to visit. Let's start with the Tower, whose construction began in 1853 and the spire was completed in 1932. The Church of Saints Joseph and Biagio was inaugurated in 1895 and is of Neo-Gothic style.
