One of the most interesting things about Rittana is undoubtedly the idea of the municipal administration to fresco the facades of the houses in the center. In 1987 contemporary artists created a series of paintings that made the village even more picturesque.

Society

From a demographic point of view, the municipality has undergone a marked decline in its population over the years. However, this has not stopped the community from continuing to live and animate the village.

Administration

The municipality of Rittana has been governed by different administrations over the years. It was then incorporated into the Valle Stura Mountain Community.
