Physical geography
Tosi is located on the borders of the splendid Vallombrosa, only 9 km from the municipal capital of Reggello and 28 km from Florence. The hamlet is situated on the slopes of the Tusco-Emilian mountains, at an altitude of approximately 500 meters above sea level. History
The first human settlements date back to the Middle Ages, but the hamlet gained popularity especially from the 20th century onwards, thanks to its proximity to the famous tourist destination of Saltino, reachable via the new Sant'Ellero-Saltino Railway. Additionally, in past decades, craftsmanship and furniture production have represented an important pillar of the economy of the municipality of Reggello.
Demographic evolution
Tosi has a population of approximately 963 inhabitants and one of its strengths is the sports field which hosts sports and non-sports events. Furthermore, during the summer months, the hamlet welcomes numerous vacationers and tourists, thus increasing the local population.

In Tosi it is possible to move around thanks to the bus lines of Busitalia - Sita Nord which connect Florence to Vallombrosa, Saltino (Reggello) and Reggello.
