Church of San Clemente in Sociana

One of the main attractions of San Clemente is the Church of San Clemente in Sociana. This religious building is located in the upper part of the hamlet and is part of the Florentine vicariate. The structure dates back to ancient times and has undergone numerous renovations. In 1580, it underwent an adjustment in sixteenth-century forms, while in 1733, it underwent a radical renovation.

San Clemente Bridge

The San Clemente Bridge is another point of interest in the area. This bridge connects the left bank of the Arno, where the town of Rignano sull'Arno is located, to the right bank where the hamlet of San Clemente is located. The origins of the bridge date back to the thirteenth century when about twenty bridges were built on the territories controlled by the Florentine municipality. After some stability problems, since 2008, passage on the bridge has been opened to cars.

San Clemente is also a place suitable for those who love sports. The hamlet has a sports field and its own football team, Polisportiva San Clemente, which plays in the first category.
