Sammezzano Castle
One of the main attractions of Leccio is the Sammezzano Castle, located on the hill overlooking the fraction. This structure in Moorish style is currently abandoned but is definitely worth admiring from the outside.
The Mall Outlet
In recent years, the fraction of Leccio has become known for its large commercial development, thanks to The Mall outlet. This shopping center features major clothing brands and was opened in 2001. It is also relatively close to the Incisa-Reggello exit along the A1 highway. Additionally, the number of visitors to the outlet is almost equal to that of the Uffizi Gallery.
Moreover, there are other secondary outlets in the surrounding area.
Facilities and transportation
The fraction of Leccio is easily reachable via the State Road 69 of Val d'Arno and is served by Busitalia-Sita Nord buses towards Pontassieve/Florence and Arezzo. Alternatively, the nearest railway services are about 3 km from the fraction, at the Rignano sull'Arno station.

Please note that near the river that runs near the fraction, a flood zone is planned to be created.
