In the 1950s, remains of huts and ceramics dating back to the Iron Age were found, as well as a stone with a cup mark on the top of Mount Caslè, indicating the presence of humans since prehistoric times. In this territory, between the 12th century BC and the 10th century BC, there was a fortified settlement of about one and a half hectares, delimited by a wall three meters high, which was probably part of a religious area.
