Priverno

The interior

Crossing the entrance door, you can admire the central nave, with a Latin cross plan, whose vaults are supported by stone columns. The interior of the church is sober and minimal, without particular decorations, but at the same time very suggestive. The vaulted ceiling, which extends throughout the length of the nave, almost seems to touch the floor.

The main altar

The main altar, located in the center of the apse, is a masterpiece of Gothic sculpture. The upper part of the altar is made up of an intertwining of ogival arches supported by columns and decorated with statues of saints and angels. In the center of the altar, protected by wrought iron fencing, there is the tabernacle.
