Physical geography
The municipality of Prazzo is located between 1,000 and 3,072 meters above sea level. The main settlement is divided into Prazzo Superiore and Prazzo Inferiore, separated by about one kilometer along State Road 22. In Prazzo Superiore, you will find the town hall, the school, a hotel, and most of the town's shops, while in Prazzo Inferiore, you will find the parish church and a barracks.
History
During the fascist era, the municipalities of Ussolo and San Michele Prazzo were annexed to Prazzo.

Museums
Prazzo hosts two interesting museums. The Museum of Hemp and Women's Work shows how hemp was an important economic resource for the area over the centuries. In the Museum of our soldiers, on the other hand, objects, uniforms, and documents are exhibited that recall Prazzo's participation in the world wars.
