Origins and participation in U.L.I.C championships (1919-1932)

It all began in 1919 when Unione Sportiva Pizzighettone was founded, which was then affiliated with the U.L.I.C committee in Cremona in 1928. The team remained in the First Category U.L.I.C Cremonese until 1932.

Affiliation with FIGC (1932-1945)

In 1932, the team affiliated with FIGC and was admitted to Third Lombard Category. After a break due to the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and World War II, the team returned to activity in 1945 and started participating in U.L.I.C championships of the Propaganda Section of Cremona under the new name "U.S. Pizzighettonese".

Post-war and re-affiliation with FIGC

In 1947, the team affiliated again with F.I.G.C. and restarted from the First Division. In 1952, it was promoted to Lombard Promotion but in 1957, it decided not to participate in the championship.

After many years in Prima Categoria, in 1988-1989, the team regained promotion to Promotion and in 1990-1991 was admitted to the new Lombard Excellence.

Serie D and professionalism (1999-2009)

After four seasons in Serie D, in Serie D 2002-2003, for the first time, Pizzighettone was promoted to Serie C2, winning its group under the guidance of coach Roberto Venturato. The team had its greatest success with participation in two consecutive Serie C1 championships, the third professional level of the Italian football league, where it achieved its best result finishing twelfth in Serie C1 2005-2006.

The decline

After a few years of success, in 2009, the team was relegated to Serie D and in 2012, it changed its name to Unione Sportiva Pergolettese 1932 and moved to the city of Crema.
