Anzasco

Welcome to Anzasco, the beach on Lake Viverone!

Anzasco is a small beach located on the northwestern shores of Lake Viverone in the Metropolitan City of Turin. This area is part of the municipality of Piverone and owns one third of the lakeshore. The toponym comes from the Latin "antium" which means "place facing" or "promontory". Anzasco is a very popular tourist destination and has numerous commercial activities. The area is crossed by the former State Road 228 of Lake Viverone.

A place with many tourist attractions

Anzasco is known as a popular tourist destination. However, this area also offers many ordinary places that are very interesting. Anzasco is delimited by its municipality of belonging, located higher up on the hill of the Serra Morenica di Ivrea and the adjacent Viverone, on the border of the Province of Biella. Furthermore, Anzasco continues on the western shores of Lake Viverone, ending with the Bancassa di Piverone area, a wild and wildlife area.

On the shores of Lake Viverone, there is a green area with a docking pier for navigation and a small church dating back to the 10th century, dedicated to "Santa Maria de Ursacio" (St. Mary of Grace) and restored at the end of the 18th century. On the other side of the former state road, there are other tourist facilities, as well as a building used as a hotel-restaurant, equipped with a tower and a noble corner from the 14th century. In addition, Villa Saporiti (Piverone) is a historic eclectic villa of great historical interest.
