Marina di Pietrasanta: a place to discover

Marina di Pietrasanta is a charming hamlet in the municipality of Pietrasanta, located on the Versilia coast in the province of Lucca. This hamlet stretches along four kilometers of coastline, between Forte dei Marmi and Lido di Camaiore, and is divided into four areas: Fiumetto, Tonfano, Motrone, and Le Focette.

History

In the 1930s, Marina di Pietrasanta was already a well-known seaside resort with approximately 2,000 residents and the capacity to accommodate 900 tourists in hotels and rental homes. The area was poorly urbanized, with beach establishments consisting of simple wooden cabins, scattered buildings, and large pine forests.
