In addition, there are also two sources of water, the iron-rich source in Rufòsc and the sulfur-rich source in Aonêš.
Climate
The climate of Paularo is rather mild, with summers that can reach 30°C in the months of June, July and August. The winter is not particularly harsh, with average temperatures ranging from 1.5°C to -5°C.
Origins of the name
The name Paularo could derive from "''pabolarium''" (pasture) or from "povui-poulars", a place of horse chestnuts. Testifying to this second possibility are the only centuries-old arboreal specimens in Julia Square, heirs to a much larger plantation.
