Paliano enjoys a warm temperate Mediterranean climate, with mild and rainy winters and hot and dry summers. History
The history of Paliano dates back to the 6th century, when the village began to be mentioned in official documents. In the 15th century, the city became a feudal possession of the Colonna family, who made it an important power center in the Agro, along with Palestrina, Genazzano and Marino. The city has great importance in the history of Lazio and many archaeological remains can be found from various historical periods.
