Introduction
Hello everyone! Today I want to talk to you about Forcoli 1921 Valdera S.S.D. a r.l., an Italian football team based in Forcoli, a town in the municipality of Palaia, in the province of Pisa.
History
Unione Sportiva Forcoli was founded in 1921 and played in amateur leagues until the 1980s, moving from Prima Categoria to Seconda Categoria. In 1993, they managed to get promoted to Eccellenza Toscana, where they remained for two seasons. However, in the late 1990s, the team was relegated back to Prima Categoria before eventually rising to Promozione.
In 2000, Forcoli achieved promotion once again to Eccellenza Toscana and remained there until 2004, when they were promoted for the first time to Serie D. In their first year, they finished mid-table, then made the playoffs for three consecutive seasons, while in the 2008-2009 Serie D, the team easily avoided relegation.
Meanwhile, the presidency of the club passed from Marco Consoloni to Walter Tommasi. In the 2009-2010 Serie D, the team played in Group E, while the other three teams in the province of Pisa were moved to Group D. At the end of the season, Forcoli secured safety.
Serie D
The club participated in Serie D 2010-2011, being placed in Group D, where they also faced provincial derbies against Mobilieri Ponsacco and Tuttocuoio. At the end of the season, the team finished seventh, just two points away from the playoff zone.
In Serie D 2011-2012, the team finished 13th, while in Serie D 2012-2013, Forcoli was once again placed in Group D and secured safety after the playoffs with Stefano Brondi as coach. In Serie D 2013-2014, the Amaranto club participated in its tenth consecutive season in Serie D, being placed in Group D and relegating to Eccellenza at the end of the season.
Eccellenza Toscana
In Eccellenza Toscana 2014-2015, the team participated in Group A, maintaining its category; it therefore participated in the top regional amateur championship also in Eccellenza Toscana 2015-2016, but in the end the team relegated to Promozione.
