History

Faverzano was an autonomous municipality until 1928 when it was abolished and merged with the municipality of Offlaga. Over the centuries, the village came under the control of various powers, from the Gambara to the Republic of Venice, from the Republic of Brescia to the Cisalpine Republic, from the Kingdom of Italy to the Austro-Hungarian Empire in Lombardy-Venetia and finally to the Kingdom of Sardinia. During the fascist period, Faverzano was ruled by a Podestà.
