Villadoro, also known as ''Passariḍḍu'' in Sicilian dialect, is a small village located about 17 km from the city of Nicosia, at 796 meters above sea level.

Here life flows peacefully, the slow rhythms of the countryside move in step with the processing of wheat, animal breeding, and the production of the famous ''Ricotta di fuscella''. The population of Villadoro, in fact, is mainly dedicated to agriculture and livestock breeding, maintaining the tradition of the territory.

The village is surrounded by a mountainous area, near the Monte Altesina Oriented Reserve and not far from Gangi. The surrounding area is mainly covered by croplands and pastures, while the forest cover concentrates on the reliefs.
