Trivero, also known as Tërvé or Trivé in Piedmontese dialect, is an Italian Municipality located in the province of Biella, Piedmont. It has a population of 5,508 and is part of the Valdilana commune. Its seat is located in the hamlet of Ronco and is the entrance to the panoramic road that crosses the Zegna Oasis.
The History of Trivero
During the Middle Ages, Trivero belonged for a long time to the Archdiocese of Vercelli. In the 14th century, the area was involved in clashes between the followers of Fra Dolcino and the bishop and feudal troops, who crushed them on Monte Rubello, north of the town. In 1379, Trivero became part of the domains of the House of Savoy, together with a large part of Biella. In 1798, the Liberty Tree was erected in Trivero. On January 1, 2019, Trivero joined the municipalities of Mosso, Soprana, and Valle Mosso, creating the new municipality of Valdilana.

The coat of arms of the municipality of Trivero was granted by the President of the Republic on October 6, 1953.
Monuments and Places of Interest in Trivero
In the locality of Bulliana, there is the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Heath, one of the most frequented places of worship in the north-eastern province of Biella. Near Trivero, there is also the Sanctuary of Mazzucco, originally dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Bernard of Clairvaux, and then particularly to Anna, the mother of Mary.
