Montecchia di Crosara
Welcome to Montecchia di Crosara: a unique place
Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about a special place in northern Italy: Montecchia di Crosara. With its 4253 inhabitants, this town in the province of Verona is a gem of the Val d'Alpone, famous for its natural landscapes and endless vineyards.
Landscape of Montecchia di Crosara
Immersed in nature among woods, wildlife, and hills created by the Monti Lessini, the vineyards extend in every direction, creating a unique panorama during the flowering phase. Looking at the hills, you can see cherry trees that stretch from the valley bottom to the top. During the flowering season, the white petals create a romantic scenery that will leave you speechless.
Agriculture in Montecchia di Crosara is not only the cultivation of grapes but also of the equally famous cherry. The town produces twenty thousand quintals of cherries and two hundred thousand hectoliters of wine, the result of a flourishing agricultural activity.
Origin of the name
