The interior, characterized by white and straw yellow, offers peace and tranquility. Montepastore also had a castle, of which only a tower remains today.

The hamlet is easily accessible thanks to the provincial road 26 Valle del Lavino, which connects it to Calderino and Tolè. Furthermore, Montepastore is served by the 686 bus line, managed by Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna, which allows you to reach Bologna and Tolè passing through Zola Predosa and Calderino.
