In the flat areas, one can find the inhabited centers of Margine Coperta, Bruceto, Traversagna and Biscolla.
History
Massa e Cozzile has a very ancient history. The municipality was given a coat of arms and a gonfalon by decree of the President of the Republic in 1997, while the flag was granted in 2020.

The municipality of Massa e Cozzile has 7,652 inhabitants. As of December 31, 2009, the resident foreign population was 733 people. The two nationalities most represented are Romania, with 3.35%, and Albania, with 2.80%.
