Monuments and Places of Interest
Parish Church
The parish church of Madonna della Salute is a real wonder! Until the second post-war period, it was subject to the parish of Coste (Maser), but then was raised to an independent parish. In 1884 the inhabitants built a small oratory, which was then replaced by the current church, started in 1948 and consecrated in 1962. Its architecture, very particular and modern, was designed by the architect Pietro Antonio Zannini. Take a few minutes to visit this marvel!
Monument to the Fallen
The Monument to the Fallen of Madonna della Salute is an emotionally powerful work. It was raised in 1923 as a monument to the soldiers who died during the First World War, at the request of the inhabitants themselves. Built by the Tocchetto brothers of Altivole, the artifact consists of a cement base on which rests a sculpture by Giobatta Donazzan. The sculpture is a half-cut Roman column, surmounted by a bronze eagle. On the sides of the pedestal, there are plaques with the names of the fallen. The monument was one of the reasons that led to the establishment of the parish of Madonna della Salute, since the inhabitants had not been able to agree with the neighbors of Coste for the erection of a single monument.
