Origin of the name

History

The village was then an integral part of the Bolzano district until the end of the First World War. In 2010, the local volunteer firefighters have a new headquarters carved into the rock walls of Favogna, by two young architects from Bressanone, Gerd Bergmeister and Michaela Wolf.
Symbols
The coat of arms of Magrè sulla Strada del Vino represents the sign of the Ob der Platten family, who lived in the village until 1511. The coat of arms, adopted on November 7th, 1968, appears as a seal in 1780.
