Hello everyone, today I'm going to talk to you about Loranzè, a small town located in the metropolitan city of Turin, in Piedmont. Loranzè has about 1156 inhabitants and was one of the possessions of the Lorenzato family in the XIV century.

Monuments and places of interest

If you have the opportunity to visit Loranzè, there are some monuments and places of interest that I recommend you to visit. Among these, the Castel Rosso, whose construction began in the XI century, the parish church of San Lorenzo martyr, the chapel of San Rocco and the Church of San Firmino, built in 1897.

Loranzè, a historical and artistic treasure in Piedmont.

Society and demography

Loranzè has an ancient and fascinating history, which can also be seen in its demographic evolution. The population of the town has grown over the years, starting from the early 1900s, stabilizing at around 1000 inhabitants in the 1950s. Currently, Loranzè has about 1156 inhabitants.

Administration

During the fascist period, Loranzè was included in a single municipality, together with Colleretto Giacosa, Parella, Quagliuzzo, and Strambinello. This change was reversed after the Second World War, on August 23, 1947, when the five municipalities regained their autonomy. Below, you can find a table with the administrations that have succeeded over time.
