Saints and Blesseds

Hello friends! Today I want to talk to you about some saints and blesseds who carry the name Gratus (Grato). First there is Gratus of Forlì, a deacon who worked with Bishop Saint Mercuriale in the 4th century. Then there is Gratus of Aosta, celebrated on September 7th, and Gratus of Oloron, bishop of the Diocese of Oloron, celebrated on October 11th. In addition, there is Gratus martyr who was martyred along with Julius, Potamia, Felix, Crispin and others, celebrated on December 5th, and Gratus of Chalon, bishop of the Diocese of Chalon, remembered on October 8th. They are highly revered saints in the Church who have left a significant mark in the history of Christian faith.

Italian localities

Now I want to tell you about two Italian localities that bear the name San Grato. The first is a hamlet in Lodi and Montanaso Lombardo, while the second is a hamlet in the municipality of Villanova Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo. Both localities are small but very welcoming, and they are perfect places to spend a day of peace and serenity.
