The History of the Potenza-Pignola-Laurenzana Railway

The Potenza-Pignola-Laurenzana railway was a narrow-gauge railway line that connected Potenza, Italy with Nova Siri, a project that was never completed. The line was operational from 1919, under the management of Ferrovie Calabro Lucane, but was permanently suspended in 1974.

The line started from the station of Potenza Inferiore and continued to the station of Pignola, passing through the station of Laurenzana. The line was never completed to Nova Siri.
