Laureana Cilento is located in zone 3 (low seismicity) and boasts a beautiful territory rich in nature and breathtaking landscapes.

The climate here is pleasant all year round: the average temperature in January is +6.8 °C, while in August it can reach +24.4 °C.

History

If you are interested in history, you will discover that until 1860 the village was called Lauriano, but with the annexation to the kingdom of Sardinia, its name was changed to Laureana Cilento. From the aggregation in the Kingdom of Italy, from 1861 to 1946, it was part of the Torchiara district.
